SUSAN SACHS LIPMAN

Susan Sachs Lipman (Suz) is the author of FED UP WITH FRENZY: SLOW PARENTING IN A FAST-MOVING WORLD (Sourcebooks, 2012).  Suz’s articles have appeared in several magazines and websites, including the Christian Science Monitor’s Modern Parenthood blog.  The book grew out of Suz’s blog, Slow Family Online, which helps families and others have fun and make memories by slowing down, rediscovering lost arts and activities from a simpler time, and reconnecting with themselves and each other in the process.

Suz is also the Social Media Director for the Children & Nature Network, an international movement dedicated to connecting children with nature.  A long-time Girl Scout troop leader,Suz especially enjoys gardening, hiking, antiquing, food canning, and soap-crafting with her family and friends.
